Membership in FEVOURD-K NGO Federation
HARSITA Organization is a proud member of FEVOURD-K (Federation of Voluntary Organizations for Urban and Rural Development in Karnataka), a registered non-profit federation dedicated to empowering social workers and organizations. The federation brings together over 1,000 social organizations and workers across Karnataka, addressing more than 25 thematic areas such as health, education for underprivileged children, environmental issues, rural development, and employment generation.
Through this membership, HARSITA actively collaborates with like-minded organizations to strengthen social welfare and charitable initiatives.
Objectives of FEVOURD-K
- Felicitation of Social Work: Recognize and felicitate organizations and workers for their contributions, encouraging higher productivity in social services.
- Awareness Programs: Conduct sessions on NGO legal compliance, accountability, government schemes, bank schemes, judicial systems, NGO administration, and donor engagement.
- Promotion of NGOs: Showcase social organizations and workers to private donors, corporate CSR initiatives, and government agencies.
- Collaborative Platform: Create a strong platform for NGOs, private donors, CSR bodies, and government institutions to work together on social initiatives.
- CSR Awareness: Build awareness about CSR opportunities, policies, and processes while mobilizing resources for CSR-linked programs.
- Employment Generation: Support initiatives that provide both employment and self-employment opportunities in the social sector.
- Capacity Building: Offer professional training to NGOs to enhance efficiency, accountability, and impact in social work.
