Ayurvedic Medicinal Plants

The organization selected 40 rural women from different SHGs and facilitated a 2-day training at BAIF, Tiptur to learn about the uses of various medicinal plants.

As part of the program, the following plants were distributed to SHG families for cultivation in their front yards using wastewater:

• Madhu Mathi

• Madhu Nashini

• Aloe Vera

• Tulasi

• Neem

• Nalli

• Amrutha Balli

• Kaama Kasthuri

• Papaya

• Curry Leaf

This initiative promoted traditional healthcare practices while also encouraging kitchen-level herbal cultivation for better family health.
