General Health Camps activities

Since 2000, the organization has been actively creating awareness through SHG members, SHG federations, and school students, including awareness jaathas (rallies) conducted by school children. Medical and general health camps were organized in two villages – T. Guddenahalli (Alur Taluk) and Bandishettyhalli (H.N. Pura Taluk) – under NABARD’s Village Development Programme (VDP). Another camp was conducted at Hariharapura village (H.N. Pura Taluk) with support from SUZLON Company (Wind Energy Plant).

An eye camp was also held at the taluk level in collaboration with the Lions Club. Every year on 7th August, SHG meetings are organized focusing on Mother’s Milk Week (Sthanya Pana Sapthaha), malaria, TB, cancer, and National Nutrition Day.

Additionally, continuous health education and awareness sessions were conducted on COVID-19 prevention and safety measures during SHG meetings.
